London premiere of multi-award winning film Lad: A Yorkshire Story

BAFTA, London, Saturday June 20th at 6:30pm – Since opening at the Chicago Film festival, Lad has scooped 21 international film awards in the USA, Germany, Canada and the UK and represents the latest Yorkshire film to wow international audiences since The Full Monty and Calendar Girls.

The film sees newcomer (Bretten Lord) taken under the wing of Yorkshire Dales park ranger (Alan Gibson) after the death of his father is a semi-autobiographical coming-of-age story directed by ex-Harry Potter crew member Dan Hartley.

To celebrate the release Rogue Runner Films has teamed up with leading children's bereavement charity, Child Bereavement UK, to host a screening at BAFTA followed by a filmmaking workshop with the charity's youth group.
