PRESS RELEASE: AIDS SINCE THE 80s PROJECT -

The largest collection of video interviews ever compiled about the deadly AIDS pandemic of the 1980s and 90s in the UK is due to be archived with the London Metropolitan Archive, preserving HIV/AIDS history for posterity.

The archive will consist of 100 in-depth interviews with survivors and others directly concerned with the pandemic.

The archive will be called: 100 Surviving HIV: The London Interviews

The interviews give many who have never shared their experiences and memories a chance to talk freely and at length – bucking the trend in an age of the sound bite.
