Disabled York lady braves the Dragons' Den

A lady from York will be flying the flag for disabled entrepreneurs everywhere when she appears in series 19 of Dragons' Den this week. Her business Neo Walk make handmade acrylic walking sticks and send them all over the world.

"While I was in the Den for an hour and we talked about what it's like to run my growing business from a wheelchair. It's great to show people with disabilities succeeding in business, and for me to represent my community on tv is going to be very special. I wish more tv shows and the media in general included us in the spotlight like this."
